Defending Gayatri from Amma and Ammabot Attacks
Gayatri, Amma's closest and earliest Western disciple has started to tell the truth about Amma's violent fits, financial corruption and personal beatings. Since revealing the truth Gayatri has been strongly attacked and slandered by Ammabots who, while admitting that she is a good and sane person, cannot accept her public statements. One Ammabot, Shaktidas, admitted that the charges against Amma were of no concern because Amma is the guru. This is how a true cult member thinks.
In support of Gayatri (Gail Tredwell) we reprint a comment in the Rolling Stone discussion section.
"There has been much speculation re Gail Tredwell's motivations in waiting so long to speak out. As one of the people who has actually engaged in face to face conversation with her in recent months I would like to say that the reason she did not speak out straight away after she left was because she was SO TRAUMATISED by the abuse she has suffered. Abuse which is far more than what was mentioned in the Rolling Stone article.
This abuse was NOT something done as a form of guru - student discipline. It was at times Amma totally losing it. Attacks of extreme temper in which she screamed at Gail, yelling obscenities. She was hit, scratched, bitten, pinched, kicked and had her hair pulled out. What had been the odd slap or pinch in earlier years became by the late '90s full blown abuse.
Gail for years accepted this abuse. I think at first she may also have believed that this was part of her role as the student and the guru as master. She initially never tried to protect herself. But at times she told me she was almost shaking in fear whilst waiting for Amma to come back after a long darshan. Not knowing what mood she would be in.
This abuse WAS witnessed by others. Including other swamis. She was even hit by Amma when they travelled by car after the programs. The drivers witnessing this abuse. Other persons close to Amma in the ashram witnessed this abuse. It mainly occurred though behind closed doors. Others close to Amma were also abused by her.
Gail used to wear a scarf around her neck to hide any marks causing scratching and bruising that may have been visible. She said at times she felt ashamed and embarrassed lest others see.
She never hit Amma back or yelled back at her. Although towards the end she did put up her arms to defend herself and get into defensive positions just as the blows were coming at her.
It took years for Gail to get over the trauma of what had happened to her. She had to undergo therapy. She was also fearful of retribution if she spoke out. She had nightmares and could not sleep. She was also embarrassed in so many ways about what had happened to her and what she had allowed to happen to her.
For years she just wanted to not think about it all.
But also knew that she would never be truly free unless she faced up to what had happened to her. Which is what motivated her to write her book. As much as to tell the world her story. Also for her to regain her power.

Ammabots are sad souls who, for the price an occasional hug, will allow their tragic lives to become completely trashed by a tyrant who neither loves nor cares for them.

"Hugging Saint" Amma's Lyings, Beatings and Cheatings

When you add up all of the wrong and criminal acts associated with Amma, you will see not a saint but a malevolent boss whose gang is involved in crime, lying, cheating and cover-ups at every turn.
Amma monk, Taavi Kassila's inexcusable sexual excesses, which violated several mothers' trusts, shocked teenage girls by attempted seductions and gave at least one cheated partner incurable genital herpes was not the first scandal from which Amma irresponsibly tried to distance herself from the Kassila sex expose.
Nor is Satnam Singh Mann's mysterious murder the only death associated with Amma's ashram to be shrouded in contradictions. It is not the only case of a beating given for trying to get Amma's hug.
Pavithran was also beaten, as reported in 'Indian Currents, Issue 36, September 04, 2005'. "Those who expressed anguish and contacted the Ashram following the attack included former Prime Minister A. B. Vajpayee, BJP President L. K. Advani, and former Union Minister O. Rajagopal, who himself is a close devotee of the Amma. Amma's ashram falsely claimed to not know Pavithran, even though he had lived at Mata Amritanandamayi ashram as did Satnam Singh Mann (it has been reported). The same outrageous denial was made of Taavi Kassila, another Amma ashram resident.
Mental illness seems to be the alleged cause of problems at Amma's ashram, but is Amma, who beats her devotees to blame? "Even Mata Amrithanandamayi had admitted that many of her devotees and Ashram inmates are mentally deranged persons."
There was also the suspicious death of a French lady, Caroline Abitbole, within the Ashram premises, another Amma controversy which has been covered up, the webpages removed.

Amma's family live like royalty and are both feared and respected. Amma has absolute power.
Amma could be responsible for the neurotic, cruel behavior and lying of her devotees. Amma kicked her masseuse for no reason, cracking her ribs. Amma has slapped, beaten, scratched, pulled hair and throttled her devotees for insignificant and made up offenses, such as not cooking rice to her liking.
Just before Amma's closest and oldest Western devotee, Gayatri, revealed the true horror of life with Amma, in Rolling Stone magazine, another Amma cover up was being planned. Amma's devotees, including high representative Elizabeth Sidon, wife of Rob Sidon, the former Disney employee who now heads up Amma's PR team infiltrated Ex-Amma to destroy Gail Tredwell's (Gayatri's) reputation. Elizabeth Sidon, who also calls herself "Elizabeth Daniels" - deleted "Sidon" from her profile when she realized that she had been caught red-handed.
Rob Sidon, Amma PR man, is apparently the editor-in-chief of a magazine called "Common Ground," and "Elizabeth Daniels" is listed as a staff member on the magazine's staff listing.
Robert Sidon lists the dubious distinction in his online resume of "Achieved world-class news coverage for "Amma", (a rare humanitarian compared to Gandhi and Mother Teresa) in prestige media internationally." Robert Sidon might also add that he is supporting the biggest con of the century for which he will go to hell for helping to cover up the truth. Amma is no saint, no humanitarian. Hindu Law Student Beaten To Death After Trying To Get Amma Ashram Hug
The day after the death of Satnam Singh, the law student who tried to approach Amma for a hug, but was repelled by Amma devotees and later found beaten to death, the Kerala state minister, an Amma devotee, was seen visiting Amma at the ashram. Was this to get the story straight? Indian police have been accused of torturing the man. Amma's website has erased their initial report of the incident in the same way in which they deleted Rishi Taavi Kassila's history after the sex scandal appeared.
Amma devotees were seen calling for the death of Singh on YouTube, wrongfully accusing him of being an Islamic fundamentalist (he was not, he was a Hindu Brahmin).
Amma failed to protect the man. Another suspicious death connected to Amma Amritanandamayi.

Amma Violence And Corruption In Rolling Stone Magazine 2012
Expose of the physical violence and financial corruption of Amma Amritanandamayi in "The Big Squeeze: The Guru Who Turns Hugs Into Gold" by David Amsden for Rolling Stone magazine [August 16, 2012. Issue 1163]. Amma's first, closest Western devotee, Gayatri who was later renamed Swamini Amritaprana after be admitted into Amma's inner circle describes beating by Amma upon herself and others. Amma siphoned off money and gold to her six siblings and parents allowing them to obtain luxury palatial houses. Amma's current devotees deny the allegations but their denials are suspicious as we have seen with the Amma Rishi Taavi Kassila sex scandal cover-up involving fake celibacy, genital herpes and attempted seduction of minors.
Gayatri (Swamini Amritaprana), who was with Amma for 20 years, smuggled out under a blanket in 1999, kept silent until 2012, is writing a book currently titled “For The Love of God: A Memoir Of Faith, Devotion And Pure Madness”.

Amma Taavi Kassila Fraud, Scams and Fake Immigration
Amma Amritanandamayi and Taavi Kassila are both fake, corrupt and have an interest in money.
Amma presents herself as a god, an avatar, a living incarnation of Lord Krishna, a male Hindu deity. Amma gives hugs like a politician gives handshakes. Amma's hugs are not even proper hugs. She sits and receives people who are forced to crawl to her on their hands and knees. This inferior service, the claim of being a 'god woman' and charitable has made Amma untold millions of in unaccountable cash. Amma PR says Amma donates money but provides no firm evidence of from where the money comes and who received it. Sri Mātā Amṛtānandamayī Devī is not her real name, it is Sudhamani Idamannel. Amma is a fake name just as Rishi is a faked name.
Taavi Kassila has been bankrupt and involved in dubious money making schemes. One MLM (Multi Level Marketing scheme, pyramid selling scam) which ended in the suspicious suicide of the millionaire boss involved selling colostrum, breast secretion which appear before breast milk is made after a baby, in this case cow's calf, is born. Kassila told naive and gullible followers that he was making 7,000 Euro ($ 8,900 per week!
Kassila who frequently needs to evade hurt women, bad PR and possibly debt collectors, claimed to be immigrating to India several years ago after throwing a leaving party. It seemed though that Kassila only went to India for holidays. His own press interviews indicated that he had not left until many years later than he had first advertised.

The schedule does not include Taavi Kassila talking on Finnish "YLE Radio 1" about the holy Bhagavad-Gita which Kassila claimed to translate. The Kassila translation scam was nother dubious claim since Kassila is not a Sanskrit scholar and used English translations (discussed on the Hare Krishna ex-member forum: Taavi Kassila Bhagavad-Gita). Amma followers believe that Amma is Lord Krishna the claimed originator of the ancient Bhagavad-Gita.

Amma presents herself as a god, an avatar, a living incarnation of Lord Krishna, a male Hindu deity. Amma gives hugs like a politician gives handshakes. Amma's hugs are not even proper hugs. She sits and receives people who are forced to crawl to her on their hands and knees. This inferior service, the claim of being a 'god woman' and charitable has made Amma untold millions of in unaccountable cash. Amma PR says Amma donates money but provides no firm evidence of from where the money comes and who received it. Sri Mātā Amṛtānandamayī Devī is not her real name, it is Sudhamani Idamannel. Amma is a fake name just as Rishi is a faked name.
Taavi Kassila has been bankrupt and involved in dubious money making schemes. One MLM (Multi Level Marketing scheme, pyramid selling scam) which ended in the suspicious suicide of the millionaire boss involved selling colostrum, breast secretion which appear before breast milk is made after a baby, in this case cow's calf, is born. Kassila told naive and gullible followers that he was making 7,000 Euro ($ 8,900 per week!
Kassila who frequently needs to evade hurt women, bad PR and possibly debt collectors, claimed to be immigrating to India several years ago after throwing a leaving party. It seemed though that Kassila only went to India for holidays. His own press interviews indicated that he had not left until many years later than he had first advertised.

Rishi Taavi Kassila's genital herpes is part of a wider sex scandal. By consciously spreading a pernicious sexually transmitted disease, Kassila shows a blatant disregard for other human beings who he supposedly cared about. Kassila instead spread a lifelong disease which causes permanent physical damage. Instead of spreading peace and love, Rishi Kassila knowingly caused emotional harm for which he has never apologized (evidence 'Tarina rakkauden apostolista'). Kassila could be prosecuted for sexual assault and battery and jailed for buying prostitutes.
The sex scandal originates from Amma Amritanandamayi who has allowed Rishi Taavi Kassila to use his positions within Amma Center Finland and Amritpuri ashram to seduce teenage girls. 'Tarina rakkauden apostolista' contains the detailed description of Kaasila's attempted seduction of a teenager. Kassila had gained access to the child by fooling the mother and pretending to deliver an Amma video. This is not the only account of Kassila attempting to seduce teenagers. The man cannot be cured. Kassila is sex obsessed.
Amma is not a humanitarian. She does not care about Kassila's victims. Instead of admitting her mistake Amma is responsible for a cover-up of Kassila's public relationship to her. Kassila's activities, past and present, were deleted without explanation from the amma.fi website. Amma is not even a nice person, she manipulates others just as Kassila does.
Kassila preaches celibacy but his own sexual morals are far below the standard of basic decency. Kassila is a hypocrite and a liar.

“Rishi Taavi Kassila" has responded to serious allegations made about his sexual misconduct on the internet (mostly in Finnish)
and repeated on our blog Amma Amritanandamayi Taavi Kassila Sex Scandal Cover-up, but Kassila is not admitting anything.
Rishi Tavi Kassila's comment comes at the end of our blog post Amma Monk Threatens Woman He Infected With Herpes.
Although the poster's name is listed on blogger.com as 'Unknown' we believe that Taavi Kassila is the source because the writer:
We do not accept that Taavi Kassila is a nobody in the Amma Amritanandamayi organization. Taavi Kassila is an instructor, organizer, promoter, honorary chairman and PR manager in the Amma organization. If this has changed then Taavi Kassila and the Amma group should make a clear statement about when this happened and why they quietly deleted all evidence of Taavi Kassila from their Amma site.
We request the supposed humanitarian Amma to show if she does protect her "children" against Taavi Kassila and similar predators. If Amma is not concerned then this blog will focus on her behavior and problems in the heart of her Amritpuri ashram.

Dear One! I have been made aware of the blog that has been started at http://amma-taavi-kassila-sex-cover-up.blogspot.in/
I am deeply pained that the name of Amma, Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi, and her ashram, the Mata Amritanandamayi Math, have been dragged into this situation, which they are not at all responsible.
I would like to make certain things clear:
1. It should be clearly understood that I am not a monk at Amma’s ashram, initiated or otherwise. Out of an interest in trying to lead a spiritual life, I have chosen to live there just like thousands of other people around the world.
2. It is true that Amma has given me the name “Rishi”, but this is only because I asked her for a “spiritual name”. Amma has given such names to thousands upon thousands of people throughout the world. All you have to do is ask. The names are given as a reminder of a goal to be lived up to by the named, not as an indicator of some spiritual achievement.
It is true that I have spoken about the benefits of celibacy in the media, but at the same time I said that a relationship was possible for me, since I have never taken any vow of celibacy, formal or otherwise.
If I have hurt anyone, I apologize. It is unfair to blame Amma or her ashram, which is doing so much for the poor and suffering throughout the world, for my personal life. To do so is like blaming the doctor for the patient’s disease.
If someone is of the opinion that I have done something wrong, please, blame me, not Amma. I take full responsibility for my action, but not for actions I did not do. Kindly remove the blog or modify it so that Amma’s name is not mentioned at all.

Amma Monk Threatens Woman He Infected With Herpes
Not content to just lie,
cheat and infect his former girlfriend with a lifelong curse of
genital herpes, Taavi Kassila continues to make her life hell simply
for asking for an apology.
For former film director,
Taavi Kassila, maintaining illusions is everything. By fraud and
deception, Kassila falsely promotes himself as a yoga teacher, a
celibate monk and resident of Amritpuri - Amma Amritanandamayi's
Ashram in Kerala, India. Kassila's black market economy, fueled by
book promotions, media appearances, yoga courses and MLM schemes
depends on the truth not getting out.
Rishi Taavi Kassila feels
threatened because of the existence of one blog which he cannot make
go away. The blog 'The Story of Love's Apostle' (Tarina rakkauden apostolista) presents several eye-witness accounts which contradict
Kassila's self-styled image as a holy man, celibate, monk and yoga
philosopher. Instead we get a picture of Kassila as a love cheat and
sex addict who compulsively chases teenage girls and buys
prostitutes.
'The Story of Love's
Apostle' was created to warn women about Taavi Kassila's sexual
deceptions. More women came forward with their own creepy stories of
meeting Kassila. The blog would have never been published if Kassila
had apologized to his former girlfriend, but he refused.
'The Story of Love's
Apostle' was published on June 27th, 2011. Debates raged on Finnish
discussion forums because Kassila is a minor celebrity. Voices in
support of Kassila attacked the blog writer's sexual values and
ethics. The criticisms showed insider knowledge, which only Kassila
could know, it seemed that the writers were Taavi Kassila himself.
While Kassila could command a team of Amma devotees to illegally
plaster city streets with Amma posters it seemed unlikely that they
would defend him in a forum.
Kassila and Amma
organizer, lawyer Kirsten Pettersson, tried to threaten forum hosts
to ban the Kassila discussions. The censorship threats failed. One
antisocial writer, suspected to be Kassila posing as a woman, was so
troublesome that several threads on one forum were closed and both
"Kassila's supporter" and the blog writer were
simultaneously banned (from Finnish jooga.meditaatio.fi forum. See threads Onko Taavi Kassila eettinen joogaopettaja? and

Kassila had managed to
suppress that discussion. Things seemed to quieten down. Kassila took
this as an opportunity to continue secretly harassing the writer of
'The Story of Love's Apostle'.
Kassila was showing his
real nature, nothing holy about it. He could have apologized or
written his own account of what had happened, but instead he chooses
to be abusive and deceptive. Posing again as different women, Kassila
wrote threatening and insulting emails which have been traced back to
Kassila. One email threatened that the police would take the blog
writer away. Kassila may face legal charges for harassment and actual
bodily harm for knowingly spreading a sexually transmitted disease.
